Julie Curran Gerock is an associate in the firm with a practice in the area of family law. Prior to joining the firm, she was a partner with the firm of Whitesides & Walker, LLP in Charlotte, North Carolina where her practice focused on negotiating and litigating cases involving custody, child support, equitable distribution, divorce, alimony and other related issues.

Ms. Gerock received her law degree from Boston College Law School (J.D., 1998) and received her undergraduate degree from the University of Miami (B.A., 1994).

Ms. Gerock is admitted to the DC, Virginia and North Carolina State Bars. She is a member of the Fairfax Bar Association, the Virginia Bar Association, the Mecklenburg County (N.C.) Bar Association, the North Carolina Bar Association and the American Bar Association, Family Law Section.

Ms. Gerock is a Board member of the Young Lawyers Section of the Fairfax Bar Association. In addition, she has taught a family law paralegal course and has been a CLE lecturer on the topic of child support. She is also trained in Collaborative Law.
