Rebecca C. Shankman is an associate in the firm. Her family law practice includes, negotiating divorce, property, custody, and child and spousal support agreements, as well as court appearances.

She is admitted to practice in Maryland and the District of Columbia and is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association, the Bar Association of Montgomery County and the D.C. Bar, family law section. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Shankman completed a two-year clerkship with The Honorable John M. Mott of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia .

Ms. Shankman received her undergraduate degree from Bates College , with Honors (B.A., 1997); and law degree from the Washington College of Law, American University (J.D., 2002), where she was a Marshall-Brennan Fellow and a staff member of the Journal of Gender, Social Policy & the Law.
