Perry Choren joined Ain & Bank in 2020. Previously to joining the firm, Perry spent nearly ten years in civil litigation at other law firms – representing both plaintiffs and defendants. Most recently, Perry was a senior associate at Wilson Elser Moskowitz Edelman & Dicker, LLP where he handled a broad range of civil defense matters, including general liability, medical malpractice, premises liability, and high-exposure tort claims.
During his career, Perry’s focus has been on litigation, routinely appearing in the circuit courts of Maryland, D.C. Superior Court, and U.S. District Courts. Perry has extensive first-chair trial experience, as well as experience in all other stages of the pre-litigation and litigation phases of a case.
Perry received his J.D. with honors from the George Washington University Law School (Class of 2011). While in law school, Perry served as a judicial intern for the Honorable William H. Pauley, III in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York and for the Honorable Leland Anderson in the District Court of Jefferson County, Colorado. These experiences gave him invaluable insight regarding judicial expectations throughout the phases of litigation and trial. Perry graduated cum laude from Tufts University (Class of 2008).
